iPad mini 6 Everything New and New Features
Apple recently gave the ipad mini, Its biggest upgrade ever and i'll explain all its new features right now
Starting with the display which has been increased from 7.9 to 8.3 inches and thanks to its smaller bezel, The ipad mini 6 is actually slightly shorter than the previous model
It features an updated design similar to the ipad air with flat sides and some options for color including pink purple and starlight and just like the ipad air you can attach a second generation apple pencil to the mini
The problem is it takes up the entire right side of the device so apple had to find a new place for the volume buttons, Moving them from the right side to the top on the bottom
You'll find a usbc port which replaces the previous model's lightning connector as well as a new stereo speaker system but there are some things that apple left out like the headphone jack there's also no home button which means ipad mini will use the same swipe navigation found on the latest iphones
Although touch id is still here moving from the home button to being integrated into the top button instead this ipad mini is also equipped with the same a15 bionic chipset as the new line of iphone 13 models and translates to 40 faster cpu performance and 80 faster graphics performance compared to the previous ipad mini
There's also a cellular 5g model as an optional upgrade although it'll cost an additional 150 along with a monthly payment of about 10 dollars with your chosen carrier
The camera system on ipad mini has also been updated with true tone flash for the first time alongside a 12 megapixel camera lens that's a significant bump from the previous model's 8 megapixel lens but what's really surprising is that apple put another 12 megapixel camera on the front as well except this one is ultra wide allowing you to take some really dramatic selfies
But more importantly enabling a feature called center stage where the camera will pan around during a video call to keep you in the center of the frame while also expanding out when it recognizes someone else joining in the ipad mini is already on sale and starts at 500 for the wi fi only model
